Become a centre for Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life
Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life certificates are available in the UK only.
Courses are not accredited: Cambridge ESOL does not accredit preparation courses for these examinations; this means that institutions can run preparation courses for Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life without requiring approval from Cambridge ESOL. However, only registered centres can make entries for the tests.
How to apply to become a centre
Institutions wishing to apply for approval as a Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life centre should complete the centre application form (PDF 90Kb). Centres that are registered with Cambridge ESOL for other examinations should complete the application form on Centrenet.
There is no fee to register as a Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life centre.
Becoming a Skills for Life Interlocutor
The Speaking and Listening mode for Skills for Life tests consists of a face to face interaction conducted in pairs (two candidates with two examiners). A teacher from the college where the student is taking the test, or similarly qualified person who meets the minimum professional requirements can be trained as the interlocutor.
