Research grants for English language and teaching in the Arab world

Cambridge ESOL supports TIRF - The International Research Foundation for English Language Education - a non-profit organisation whose goal is to generate new knowledge about English language teaching and learning.
TIRF is sponsoring the 2010 Sheikh Nahayan Fellowships for doctoral research on English language and teaching in the Arab World. TIRF is soliciting proposals from doctoral candidates who have completed their course work and have had a research plan approved by their faculty advisor or committee.
The deadline for proposals is Sept. 30, 2010.
