Cambridge English has got talent in Asia

31 March 2011

Cambridge ESOL is aiming to find the best young speaker of Cambridge English in Asia with a new competition. The Best Young Speaker of Cambridge English in Asia competition has been organised by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) with backing from the London School of Business and Finance, the University of Tasmania along with a range of local sponsors throughout Asia.

It's open to candidates between the ages of 18 to 25 who are taking selected Cambridge English exams in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

“The competition provides an excellent opportunity for ambitious young learners to really show their talent for speaking English and I'm sure the standard of entries will be really high,” said Cambridge ESOL's Duncan Rayner, Regional Manager, Asia Pacific.

Prizes include an MBA scholarship in London and a Diploma in Business scholarship in Australia.
