In August 2007 Cambridge ESOL successfully gained ISO 9001:2000 certification. It is the most commonly used international standard that provides a framework for an effective quality management system.

The certification is used as proof of the quality and integrity of an organisation’s quality management system. In order to pass the certification, several audits were held by independent inspectors. Cambridge ESOL will also be subject to checks to ensure the level of effectiveness is being maintained.
