What do I need to do to become a DELTA trainer?

You need to be attached to an approved centre and be put forward and recommended by that centre as a trainer-in-training with accompanying CV and training up programme for consideration by ESOL Teaching Awards.

What experience and qualifications do I need to become a DELTA assessor?

In general, a DELTA assessor will have a minimum of two years' experience of DELTA teacher training with experience in all aspects and components of the DELTA, including course administration.

An applicant should also have significant experience of running courses and show evidence of continuing professional development in the field of ELT.
