Is Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) a teaching qualification?
Cambridge English: Proficiency, also known as Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), is our most advanced exam, and is for learners who have achieved an extremely high level of skill in the English language. It shows you are highly fluent in English and can work at upper-managerial level in international business settings or study at postgraduate level.
Cambridge English: Proficiency is a language qualification and not a teaching qualification (although it is recognised in some countries for English teaching purposes).
If you are interested in doing a teaching qualification, you might like to consider CELTA, which is a teacher training certificate.
