Using the Online Verification Service website - FAQs
The Results Verification Service is for universities, colleges, employers and other people that accept our exams. It enables them to quickly check exam results.

Who can use the Results Verification Service?
The Results Verification Service is for:
- universities
- colleges
- employers
- other organisations that accept our exams.
It allows people to check Cambridge English exam results quickly, accurately and securely.
Organisations wishing to check an IELTS result should use the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service at https://ielts.ucles.org.uk/ielts-trf/index.jsp
People who have taken our exams should not use it to check their results. Candidates can check their results online at https://cambridgeesol-results.org.
How do I access the Results Verification service?
Go to the Results Verification Service website and enter your username and password to log in. You will need the relevant candidate ID number and secret number to view exam results.

I just took my exam, do I need to register on the Online Verification Service?
No. Candidates do not need to register on the system, their result will be put on the system automatically. Candidates need only provide the institution they are applying to with their ID number and secret number. Candidates who have lost their ID number and secret number should contact the authorised l exam centre where they took the exam . Candidates wanting to check their results should use the Results Online service.

I need to check the result of an applicant, but my choice of password is not accepted when I try to register.
Passwords must be at least seven characters in length and must contain at least one digit, one non-alphanumeric character (full stop, comma etc.) and both uppercase (A–Z) and lowercase (a–z) letters.

A test taker does not have their ID number and/or secret number. How can we check their result?
Please ask the test taker to contact the authorised examination centre where the examination was originally taken. The centre should be able to provide the required information.

I cannot view the Statement of Results PDF.
1. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed. You can download it here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
2. Make sure you have turned off the pop-up blocker, or configured it to allow pop-ups from the Results Verification Service site. The option to do this may be found in the 'Tools' menu of most browsers.

I am not able to check a candidate's results using the online verification service.
Not all results can be checked using this website, for example the following types of exam results cannot be verified: exams taken before 2005, teaching qualifications (except Delta Module 1).

In cases where it is necessary to verify a result which is not within this system, we may still be able to verify the results. Institutions should apply for a certifying statement. You can download an applications form here .
