Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)

اين آزمون در سطح C2 چهارچوب مرجع مشترك زبان هاي اروپا قرار دارد. در اين سطح از توانايي از داوطلبان انتظار مي رود بتوانند:

This examination falls within Level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. At this level of ability, candidates are expected to be able to:

• آنچه را مي خوانند و مي شنوند بدون زحمت زياد بفهمند.

• Understand practically everything they read and hear without undue effort.

• اطلاعات كسب شده از منابع شنيداري و نوشتاري مختلف را خلاصه كنند و قادر باشند نكات اساسي و منطقي اطلاعات مذكور را به طور منسجمي بازگو نمايند.

• Summarise information from a variety of verbal and written sources and be capable of reproducing the basics and logical thrust of that information in a coherent fashion.

• مقصود خود را با دقت و رواني و بطور في البداهه بيان كنند و از عهده طرح عقايد خود در طول بحث راجع به موضوعات پيچيده بر بيايند.

• Express themselves fluently, spontaneously and precisely, and understand clearly how to shade opinions during discussions on complex subjects

آزمون CPE از طرف بسياري از دانشگاه ها و كالج هاي انگلستان و ساير كشورهاي انگليسي زبان به عنوان حد توانايي لازم براي ورود به آموزش عالي به رسميت شناخته شده است. (به كلمه Recognition «به زبان انگليسي»

The CPE is recognised by many universities and colleges in the UK and other English-speaking countries as fulfilling English language requirements for entry to higher education.
