Preliminary English Test (PET)

اين تست در سطح B1 چهارچوب مرجع مشترك زبان هاي اروپا قرار دارد.در اين سطح از توانايي از داوطلبان انتظار مي رود بتوانند:

This test falls within Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. At this level of ability, candidates are expected to be able to:

• نكات اساسي را در مكالمات مربوط به موضوعات معمولي مانند كار، مدرسه، سرگرمي ها و غيره را بفهمند.

• Understand the essential points made in normal speech and when the conversation turns to familiar subjects such as work, school, hobbies, etc.

• در موقعيت هايي كه هنگام سفر براي ايجاد ارتباط زباني پيش مي آيد به راحتي عمل كند. در مورد مسائل مورد علاقه شخصي، مطالب خود را به آساني و به طور منسجم بيان كند.

• Feel at home in most language communication situations likely to occur when travelling.

• داوطلبان مي توانند از تجارب خود و رويدادها حرف بزنند و روياها، آرزوها و اهداف خود را بيان كنند. آنها همچنين مي توانند برنامه ها و عقايد خود را بطور مختصر توجيه نمايند.

• Express themselves simply and coherently on familiar subjects and personal interests. Candidates can relate experiences and events and describe their dreams, hopes and aims. They can also give short explanations or justifications of their plans or opinions.
