Teacher Support Programme – UAE 2009
We are delighted to invite you to the first year of the Cambridge ESOL teacher support seminar programme.
Cambridge ESOL is a not-for-profit department of the University of Cambridge in the UK, which provides high quality English language examinations, assessment tools and teachers’ awards. We provide exams in English language for over 3 million people every year, in 130 countries, as well as a range of qualifications for language teachers. Cambridge ESOL is committed to supporting the work of English language teachers.
If you are interested in preparing yourself or your students for the Cambridge ESOL exams or you would simply like to learn more about us and what we offer, you can find valuable information, materials and support at our Cambridge ESOL teacher support seminars. They are led by experienced and knowledgeable trainers, who have all been appointed by Cambridge ESOL.
Seminar aims
- To familiarise teachers with the content of the exams
- To describe the level of the exams and what is expected of the candidates
- To provide guidance on candidate preparation, including practical classroom activities
- To familiarise teachers with the support materials offered by Cambridge ESOL
- To provide advice to teachers preparing to take TKT
