Listening, Answering and Asking

Materials needed: |
- Photocopy one copy of Worksheet B per student.
- Tell students they are going to listen to a short presentation and make notes of the main points on Worksheet B.
- Read out the script on Worksheet A. Ask students to compare their answers.
- Get feedback and clarify where necessary.
- Ask them to use the same grid on Worksheet B to make notes to prepare for their own presentation on the same theme.
- In pairs, students use their notes to present to their partner, make notes about their partner’s presentation, and ask questions to expand on at least two of the details.
- Feedback as a class.
