Materials needed:

a text describing a graph, with prepositions blanked out

Students often make mistakes with prepositions in Part 1 Writing. Exercises practising this area of language should be done on a regular basis.

  1. Take a short report describing a graph from the business section of a newspaper.

  2. Using correction fluid, blank out the prepositions.

  3. Then ask your students to complete the text.
