Task Description
What do candidates have to do?
Read a short text and complete twelve gaps in it by writing ONE word in each gap
What texts are used?
Mainly extracts from reference books and financial textbooks, financial newspapers and journals, financial websites, company annual reports, research reports, correspondence and other documents
What is being tested?
Mainly grammatical structure, with some lexico-grammatical areas
What specific areas of language are relevant?
Conjunctions, prepositions, pronouns, auxiliary verbs, modal verbs, quantifiers, etc.
How many marks are awarded?
12
