Worksheet; Sample Part 2 Question; Sample Script; ICFE General Mark Scheme; Answers |
- Divide the group into pairs and give each pair the sample Part 2 question and answer.
- Ask them to read the sample question and sample answer.
- Hand out the Worksheet with the examiner’s comments in list form.
- Ask the pairs to find examples from the answer, or references to language in the answer, which illustrate the examiner’s various comments.
- Ask each pair to use this information to decide whether this is a good or adequate performance in ICFE Writing.
- Distribute the (summary of) the General Mark Scheme and as a whole group compare the examiner’s comments with the band descriptors. Ask the class to decide on the band awarded. Hand out the Answer sheet.
