KET Reading and Writing Part 7

Task Description

This part of the test is an open cloze.

What is being tested?

Candidates are being tested on their productive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Correct spelling is required.

How many questions are there?

There are 10 gaps for the candidate to fill in. The task begins with a completed example.

What sort of text is it?

The sort of text that candidates might be expected to write themselves, e.g. a short letter or postcard. Sometimes there will be two short texts - possibly a note and a reply to it.
