  1. The teacher (or a class member) says any English sound – the trainees shout out whether it is a vowel or a consonant.

Notes/Variations:

  • The teacher (or a class member) says any English word and the trainees shout whether the word begins with a vowel or a consonant.
  • The teacher (or a class member) says any English word and the trainees shout whether the word ends with a vowel or a consonant.
