Module 3 Overview Activity

Aim:

to check candidates’ knowledge of what TKT Module 3 tests

Target Audience:

 teacher trainers/candidates

Relevance to TKT:

Module 3

Organisation:

pairs or groups then class discussion

Materials needed:

Worksheet
  1. Divide the class up into groups or pairs.

  2. Give each group or pair enough copies of the worksheet so that everyone can see it or use an OHT of the worksheet.

  3. Ask them to discuss the statements and decide if they are true or false.

  4. Set a time limit of 10 minutes for the discussion.

  5. Check the answers with the whole class.

Notes/Variations:

  • You may wish to carry out the discussions in the candidates’ first language.
