| Tips for Teacher Trainers
- Spend time in class looking at the different types of sample tasks (multiple choice, matching) and identifying what they require the candidate to do.
- Train your students to identify the key words in the instructions and to notice the task requirements.
- Teach your students about 'distractors' by doing sample tasks containing them.
- Help your students to become familiar with how to work with the Answer Sheet, by giving practice in using it.
- Teach and revise all the relevant parts of the syllabus. The Module 1 test, for example, will include tasks from the entire Module 1 syllabus, so candidates need to have covered and understood all of it.
- Make sure that students have access to a copy of the TKT Glossary, understand its function and use it as part of their study.
