Samples of levels B2, C1 and C2
Learning a language is an ongoing, lifelong process that takes place in stages. That is why Cambridge ESOL has a range of English exams at different levels designed to test reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at each stage of ability. This allows a more comprehensive assessment and ensures that candidates are truly competent in all four skills at the level at which they are tested.
Follow the links below to see samples of students' speaking and writing skills, at each of these levels, together with samples of the reading and listening tasks at each level. These will help you to determine the appropriate levels for your institution. The handbook for each of these exams will give you detailed information, and full sample papers for each level.
