Asset Languages
Asset Languages by Cambridge ESOL — a new way of looking at language assessment
Asset Languages is an assessment framework developed for the UK government. It provides a comprehensive range of language services which can be specifically tailored to the language and cultural needs of your country.
The Asset Languages programme:
- can be benchmarked against the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- is available in 25 languages, and offers 17 grades across six stages — relating to Levels A1—C2 of the CEFR
- supports lifelong learning policies from primary school age to adults
- features teacher support materials that motivate pupils and support good classroom practice
- is based on a scheme developed for the government of the United Kingdom.
