IELTS call for research proposals
11 June 2009
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) partners are pleased to announce the availability of grant funding to a total value of around £120,000 (AUS$225,000) for IELTS-related research projects conducted during 2010.
Educational institutions and suitably qualified individuals are invited to apply for funding for research projects related to IELTS. Financial support for individual projects selected will in principle be limited to a maximum of £15,000/AU$36,000 though this upper limit may be reviewed in exceptional circumstances.
Projects from the following areas are particularly encouraged: Test development and validation, contexts of test use, and test impact. Consideration will also be given to other issues of current interest in relation to IELTS.
