BULATS to lead way with online testing

A version of the Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) that can be used over the internet is being piloted – the first Cambridge ESOL examination to be made available online.

BULATS is already an enormously successful service, widely used by many organisations around the world.

A number of clients are already piloting the online test, which will be rolled out during 2008. Cambridge ESOL’s Director of Assessment and Operations, Roger Johnson, said the move towards an online test was a natural one for BULATS and would fulfil a need among large multinational organisations for a test that could be taken anywhere with access to the internet.

While the test content remains the same, the online version features a modern and appealing new design which candidates will find easy to use. BULATS will continue to be available also as a paper-based test.
