Candidate website launched

The launch of the new Cambridge ESOL Candidate Support site has made it easier
and quicker for candidates preparing for our exams to find the support andmaterials they need.

The site, which went live in August 2007, covers KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC and YLE.

For each exam, candidates (or their parents in the case of YLE) can find:

  • a summary of what each paper of the exam involves
  • the popular Information for Candidates booklets
  • sample papers, including answer keys and MP3 files with the listening material
  • testimonials from other candidates who have already taken the exam.

Candidate Support websiteFor each paper, there is a summary of what candidates have to do in each part of the paper, lists of DOs and DON’Ts and FAQs.

The site also has links to the Cambridge ESOL Recognition database and Results Online as well as the ALTE ePortfolio, for candidates who want to keep a record of their language learning.

This is just the first phase of the Candidate Support site, which will be expanded over the next few months: www.Candidates.CambridgeESOL.org
