Launch lights the TKT torch in Greece
News of TKT attracted more than 550 participants – from teachers, directors and owners of private language schools to state school teachers, authors and publishers – to the launch event at the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens in February.
Michael Carty, Development Manager for Cambridge ESOL in Greece, said: ‘The launch of TKT has been a major event. Such a high level of attendance shows the real need for this kind of qualification, a way for schools to demonstrate the quality of their staff, and for teachers to set themselves apart.’
He continues: ‘The feedback on TKT so far has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to running a major administration of the test in the near future.’
