Cambridge English in Vietnam

Cambridge ESOL is the first overseas assessment organisation to work with a state education authority to administer exams in Vietnam.

HM Ambassador Robert Gordon (British Ambassador), Simon Lebus (Chief Executive, Cambridge Assessment), Dr Michael Milanovic (Chief Executive, Cambridge ESOL) at the signing of the Memorandum of UnderstandingAn agreement signed with the Ho Chi Minh City education department will see YLE (Young Learners English), KET (Key English Test), PET (Preliminary English Test) and FCE (First Certificate in English) being offered in state schools throughout the city.

The city’s education authority is committed to the national government policy of improving standards of English in Vietnam. At the signing ceremony Mr Do Quoc Anh, of the Ministry of Education & Training, expressed the hope that the new partnership in Ho Chi Minh City could be replicated in other provinces.
