Exam centres across Mexico met with Cambridge ESOL’s Chief Executive, Mike Milanovic, in February this year.

Special mention was given to three outstanding schools, Centro Escolar Cedros, Escuela Tomas Alva Edison – Secundaria and Universidad del Valle de México, and all the centres were given a certificate of recognition.

The visit of the Chief Executive is a further sign of Cambridge ESOL’s increasing activity in Mexico, which follows the recent establishment of a local office in Mexico City. Mike Milanovic also met with representatives of schools, publishers and other stakeholders in the field of language learning.

The Mexico office is working to support the teaching and learning of English in the country by increasing opportunities to take our exams, providing support for teacher training programmes and by helping employers evaluate the language skills of staff and job applicants.
